Help for CipherGlyph Viewer, the read-only iPhone app for viewing GLY1 CipherGlyph inscriptions.
Need help? Email support@cipherglyph.org. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, what you tapped, and the address or txid you were trying to view. Do not send private keys, seed phrases, wallet files, or passwords.

What CipherGlyph Viewer does
CipherGlyph Viewer scans or accepts a pasted public address, looks for GLY1 inscriptions associated with that address, and displays the message as CipherGlyphs. It is a reader.
How do I read a CipherGlyph?
Open CipherGlyph Viewer, tap Scan address or Paste address, and enter a public address. For BadCoin, the app looks up the known issuer history and filters GLY1 payloads by the address hash160.
Why does Bitcoin or Dogecoin say it is not configured?
The app may recognize those address formats, but lookup for those chains is not connected yet. The app says this on screen instead of pretending the wall is empty.
Is CipherGlyph Viewer a wallet?
No. It has no private keys, no seed phrase import, no signing, no sending, no receiving, no balance, and no wallet account. Scanning an address does not prove you own it.
Can the app inscribe a new Glyph?
No. CipherGlyph Viewer does not inscribe. The public website currently lets you compose, encode, export, and look up Glyphs. The INSCRIBE button is marked coming soon.
The camera was denied.
You can paste an address instead. To turn camera access back on, open iOS Settings, CipherGlyph Viewer, Camera.
The lookup says the explorer is unavailable.
That means the app could not reach the public explorer at that moment. It does not mean the address has no Glyphs. Try again later or use the web page at cipherglyph.org.
How do I delete saved addresses?
Delete saved addresses inside the app. Deleting CipherGlyph Viewer from your iPhone also deletes the local saved addresses, optional nicknames, and lookup cache.
What iPhone does it need?
CipherGlyph Viewer requires iPhone with iOS 17 or later.
